Sophronia Samouti is in the 6th form of the private school GC School of Careers in Nicosia aiming to study medicine and become a compassionate -person centred physician.

Sophronia believes in using technology to facilitate preventing medicine approaches. Specifically mobile health technologies can make accessible effective primary preventive tools to teenagers. Her aim is to support the Guardian Angel team to develop an app supported preventive program for teenagers ( smoking cessation, drug addiction, obesity, healthy eating, exercising etc). Her hobbies include: travel, ballet dancing, music, reading, history and food/travel writing.

Joshua Jacob Fisher

Joshua Jacob Fisher

Joshua Fisher is a keen supporter of lifestyle intervention and preventive healthcare. He holds a BSc with Honours in Human Kinetics as well as an MSc in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences with specialization in Human Biomechanics from the University of Guelph, Canada. Joshua has also worked in the fitness industry for several years, which includes experience as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Fitness Coach. Joshua is a medical student at St George’s, University of London medical programm delivered by the University of Nicosia Medical School, currently on clinical rotation in Chicago, Illinois.

Andreas Samoutis

Andreas Samoutis is 18 years old studying in the 7th form of the GC School of Careers in Nicosia. His aspiration is to become a patient-centred physician. He has designed the logo of the Guardian Angel and he has been supporting the development of various functions of the app. Andreas has been actively involved in the International Institute for Compassionate Care and he brings this experience into the GA team.  The enthusiasm and inspiration of  volunteer young GA collaborators is a key factor for the success of the Guardian Angel mission!
